Père Lachaise Cemetery

These photos were taken in Paris, by my brother almost a year ago. To me, they are so evocative, I can remember the bitter cold and oppressive gloom of the day, the way the uncanny stillness seemed to seep into us. I think it's so interesting how these photos contrast my last post, the feelings of Summer and brightness which absorbed the last photos are totally lost in these ones.
